A level, stable surface such as a concrete pad, deck, or compacted gravel base. The included floor provides moisture protection, but proper drainage around the base is recommended for outdoor installations.
Traditional steam creates higher ambient temperatures (up to 158°F) with higher humidity, providing the classic Finnish sauna experience. This penetrates differently than infrared and offers the authentic steam sauna ritual many prefer.
